I can never do things like a normal person, even when making new year resolutions. I like to give myself a 2-3 month trial period to test the waters of a new year before committing to a resolution that, let’s face it, I will forget about come July. For 2016 my resolution will be in full swing at the start of March. Better late than never, right?

This year I have two main resolutions. Obviously my first is to blog more consistently! I’m seriously slacking, I know. Go check out the Infertility category and you’ll see why! My second resolution is to take better care of myself. That includes taking care of my mind, spirit, how healthy I feel, and how healthy I look on the outside. I’m doing all the normal stuff like drinking more water and less alcohol, having healthier eating habits, and getting more physically active, but I’m also trying to be good to my skin too.

If you read my previous post you’ll know that I signed as a Perfectly Posh Consultant. I used to be obsessed with Lush face masks but after a while Lush can get pricey. I don’t mind spending money on high quality products but there are certain things that you just have to draw a line at. All of Perfectly Posh’s products are under $25 so good sign number one. Plus, because I’m a Consultant I get a commission on the products I buy for myself so I’m getting some of my money back! I loved Lush because all of their products are completely natural and Perfectly Posh products are the same way.

After signing as a Consultant I received a box full of goodies that, sorry, I’m totally keeping for myself to try. Included in this big box of products was a small pink box called “The Ritual.” My inner sorority girl thought how cute is that! A little ritual to get you started in the biz AND it’s a pink face mask! As one of my favorite bloggers would say, super adorbs. (But don’t let me say that again..)

I did this mask for a little over five minutes while Paul gave the kiddo a bath. It smelled blah and tightened really quickly as it dried. I washed it off like any other face mask and at some point ended up in bed for the night. The next morning my face was unbelievably silky smooth. Some of the Lush masks would make my face dry the next day but I didn’t experience that with this mask. I felt smooth, hydrated, and even Paul commented on my glowing skin.

It felt good after the last few months of misery to do a little at home pamper. Unfortunately, this face mask is only available to Consultants in their first box BUT! For those of you that want to try it out just send me an email and I’ll send you a sample! Of course, check out my site to see all of the other face masks.

Perfectly Posh The Ritual

You can’t really tell in this picture but the mask is a soft pink. And just to note, yes, I did a bit of editing. It has been one extremely long month since I’ve tweezed/waxed/threaded/done anything to my brows and it’s driving me nuts. I have to let the hair grow so they can be reshaped and eventually tinted. So sorry about the edit, but hey at least I’m open.

  1. I am really impressed with your writing skills and also with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it is rare to see a nice blog like this one today..
